Pint Night: The Future of Wilderness Climbing

  • Mother Road Brewing 7 South Mikes Pike Street Flagstaff, AZ, 86001 United States (map)

Please join us for this very important Pint Night regarding the recent climbing management drafts issued by the National Park Service and U.S. Forest Service.
Both drafts are open for public comment until January 16th. We believe it’s highly important for our community to understand how this will affect wilderness climbing and submit well-informed comments.

We will have Forest Service representative, Paul Dawson, in attendance to provide an overview of the USFS draft and are currently working on inviting more informed parties to shed light on the implications of these proposals. Please note that this is not a debate or formal way to voice your comments but rather an informational, question/answer session to better understand how this guidance might take effect and how you can submit formal comments.
