Volunteer Trail Work Day: The Pit

  • Sandy's Canyon Trailhead Flagstaff, AZ (map)

Ever wonder what goes into keeping a crag accessible? A well maintained approach trail helps! We are partnering with the U.S. Forest Service to work on some sections of the approach trail to The Pit. This work will involve moving rocks, re-naturalizing social trails and stabilizing loose and slippery parts of the trail. No experience trail building is required!

What to bring/wear: Long pants, long sleeve shirt, sturdy closed toed shoes or boots, ample water, snacks, sunscreen.
What we will provide: Gloves, tools, hard hats, safety instructions, breakfast and coffee
